Hi,

I’m Rob! Years ago, I had thyroid cancer, and I was completely unprepared for it.

I wasn’t the sickest person in the world, but I was confused, angry, and depressed. During some dark nights, I thought, we should be helping each other more!

That’s why I created this site—to share humor, support, and resources to help you and your loved ones who may be going through cancer.

In my years since I had the disease it has been my absolute honour to create content (books, workshops, and keynote presentations) for people going through cancer, their families and caring professionals across the country.

In working with groups like U of T Medical School, Ontario Hospital Association and the Canadian Mental Health Association, I have been inspired by the generosity, talent and goodwill that we have as a community.

One of the biggest things I've learned is that we are more resilient, more resourceful and way tougher than we think.
